Dr Milford Zasslow, MD
Dr. Milford Zasslow is a board certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in Cardiac Anesthesia.
Dr. Zasslow graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1976. He then went on to earn a medical degree at the University of California in San Diego Medical School in 1981. Subsequently, Dr. Zasslow trained in dual residencies, first doing Internal Medicine from 1981-1983, then completing an Anesthesia Residency from 1983-1985, both at Stanford University. He then did a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia, again at Stanford University.
After his fellowship training, Dr. Zasslow joined the faculty staff at Stanford University. In 1987 he joined the anesthesiologist of NCAA and has been with the group since. He currently enjoys private practice anesthesia primarily out of Washington Hospital in Fremont.
Dr. Zasslow’s publications include articles on neuronal ischemic changes after middle cerebral artery occlusion, positive end expiratory pressure effects on atrial pressures and hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction.
In his free time, Dr. Zasslow enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
