Dr. Paul Goehner, MD

Dr. Paul Goehner is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialty training in Cardiac Anesthesia.

Dr. Paul Goehner is one of our east coast transplants, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. He then went on to graduate with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from medical school at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC in 1984. Subsequently, Dr. Goehner completed a Medical Internship at George Washington University Medical Center in 1985 and then finally migrated to the west coast to complete first a residency in anesthesia at the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF) from 1985 to 1987, and then a fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia also at UCSF from 1987 to 1988.

Dr. Goehner has been a very active member in the bay area medical community since he started private practice in 1988 at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. He currently practices primarily at Washington Hospital in Fremont, but also holds medical staff privileges at El Camino Hospital and Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City. Dr. Goehner is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the California Society of Anesthesiologists, and the Santa Clara County Medical Association.
